Photography Workshops
Leleshwa Camp's location offers you the diverse combination of wildlife, nature and authentic Masai culture to satisfy all your photography needs. Photography is 90% seeing and 10% photographing and the objective of our photography workshop is to help our guests see and make better photographs. Our dedicated Photography Workshop & Digital Imaging Center offers a comfortable learning environment with facilities that include multimedia equipment (projector, video & sound), six Macintosh desktop computers loaded with the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop and Light Room for both Mac & Windows, vehicle camera supports and beanbags. The facility's equipment is available to all our guests at no extra charge, other than for consumables, when photography workshops are not in progress. Prey & Predator is a 6 day (5 nights) hands-on digital photography workshop focusing on wildlife, nature and local tribal culture within the Masai Mara eco system. The workshops target both the enthusiastic beginner and seasoned photographers who have not previously specialized in wildlife photography. If you enjoy photography and would like to learn more about wildlife photography, then this is a course designed for you. The maximum group size is 8 participants with no more than 4 photographers to a vehicle thereby ensuring that each participant enjoys a high degree of personal attention. The workshops will be led by Mike North who is an accomplished wildlife photographer having honed his skills over the past 20 years in East Africa. Mike profits and draws his reward from sharing his knowledge and passion for wildlife and the environment with like minded photographers. By attending one of our photography workshops, we will help you jump the hurdles over which we once stumbled. To learn more about our 5 day and 1½ workshops, click here
